The published Lakeside policy allows up to two pets per camper, with a 35-pound weight limit and no aggressive breeds. Management approval is required. Contact the office about your specific pets before making a reservation; the description pet-friendly does not mean every animal or arrangement is accepted. Tell the team the number of pets, their sizes, and any details management needs to assess your request.

The park requires pet registration, shot records, and a photo. Ask how the office wants to receive these materials and complete the approval process before traveling. Confirm any applicable charges and the current policy along with your site quote. Keep the records available when you arrive. If you are considering James Lane or Beacon Drive instead of Doss Road, name that location explicitly so the office can confirm the arrangements that apply.

Pets must be leashed and supervised outdoors. Read the full park rules before booking so you can plan walking, cleanup, and time away from the RV around management’s requirements. Ask the office where you may walk your pet. A pet-friendly site does not imply an off-leash area, a dog park, or pet-sitting services. Discuss your routine before arrival if you expect to be away from the RV for long periods.

Permission to bring a pet to Lakeside does not settle the rules at a public park, restaurant, or attraction. Check each destination’s current pet policy before heading out. Build an itinerary that works for everyone traveling with you, rather than discovering a restriction at the entrance. Doss Road RV sites offer 30/50 amp power, water, and sewer, with laundry and internet access at the park. Monthly starting rates are $750 plus electricity; taxes and other applicable charges need to be confirmed. When you call (512) 266-9012, share your RV size, dates, vehicles, and pets together.
